The First Post -- Will This Site Work for Me?

I am testing out blogger to see if I would like to use it for my teaching page.  This is my first post.

    My school district blocked my tumblr account, so I am researching alternatives.

      So far, this site seems slower than tumblr. However, that may be due to the fact that I am new to blogger.

    For our fieldtrip, I would like to know if we are bringing homework and books to school, or are we bringing it on Tuesday? I think I heard you tell somebody the answer, but I'm not sure if you did or what the answer is... See you tommorow! I am very excited for the trip!
