The Age of Exploration



Read about European explorers on Social Studies for kids.  Check out their drop down menu for information on specific explorers.  This website has links for several explorers.
Another website, Cybersleuth, has resources for most of the explorers you will be studying.  This teacher also has a great website about explorers.

The first European in North America actually got here 500 years before the Age of Exploration.

    True Leif Eriksson is probably honored by some people but the sad thing is, not many people even know about him to honor him on Oct. 9. ;)
