Math Practice Over the Break -- Fractions
One of your options for math practice over the break is to use this blog and/or Khan Academy for practice. Our next unit in math will be about fractions. Check out Khan Academy's fraction page for 5th grade. You can also get free lessons from Math Antics by clicking on the fraction tab. Another good page for lessons and practice is McGraw Hill's page. Be sure that you click on the links about fractions.
Remember that you need to practice math for at least 15 minutes on five different occasions.
You can also use the math hashtag at the bottom of every math post on this blog to find more 5th grade lessons.

ReplyDeleteYou simply need to practice math 5 times for 15 minutes at a time. You get to pick which methods of practice you do.
DeleteI watched the video and did the practice. Quick Question: Do we get something for doing the math more than 5 times( E.C.)? Do we get a prize? If so I will be so happy!!!!!!!!

EC sounds good.
DeleteMr. Prola, for the Khan Academy practice that's for hw, do we just watch videos or do we do the practices too? I'm just wondering because on thee sheet of paper it just says to go to the website and watch math videos for 5th grade.
ReplyDeleteYou can do either one. The point of it is to practice math. Thanks for checking in.
