Three Weeks Is A Long Time

Dear Class,
Three weeks is a long time.  It feels a bit surreal. (Vocabulary word alert!)  I hope that all of you decide to spend some time every day working on educational activities.  Here is a list of suggestions:
  1. Use Kidblog to practice your writing and typing.  You can also interact with your friends (or your teacher) on Kidblog.
  2. Practice your math facts on Reflex.
  3. Read a good novel.  Aim for at least 45 minutes daily.  (Bonus: Post about it on Kidblog.)  You can probably read at least 3 books in 3 weeks.
  4. Make sure you get your Iready minutes in both reading and math every week.
  5. Practice typing using Typing.com through Clever.
  6. Visit Khan Academy and learn new math concepts.
  7. Use Teacherp for educational content.  I will try to post there multiple times each week.  Leave a comment so I know you were there.
  8. Go to RocketLit on Clever.  I will try to post new articles with fascinating scientific knowledge.  :)
  9. Learn about coding on Code.org or use any of the other links on Clever.
  10. Find more educational websites and post them on Kidblog, so that other students will know.
I look forward to seeing all of you in 3 weeks.  Take care of yourselves and your families.  Read every day.  You are all awesome kids.
Sincerely,
Teacherp
