Teacherp's Science Fair (Our Class Only)

I LOVE SCIENCE!!!  My favorite memories from elementary school come from participating in science fairs.  This year, our class will have our own science fair in order to learn and have fun at the same time.  Check out our science fair directions.  If you need ideas, I included links for ideas at the bottom of the directions page.

Your first responsibility will be to choose a project.  You then need to write about what you are going to do and how you are going to do it on Kidblog.  What experiment do you want to do?  What materials do you need?  Why did you pick this experiment?

This project will be due on April 8 so that we can have our science fair on April 11.

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
• 3 cups quick cooking oats
• • This is the recipe we used in class today.  It makes 24 cookies.  How much of each ingredient would you need for 60 cookies? What do you multiply by to get your answers? How do you know what to do?  You could post your answers on Kidblog or write it down and bring it in.
