I have read the two articles, 'Ban Plastic Bags" and "Unintended Consequences". In the article, "Ban Plastic Bags" the author's opinion is to ban plastic bags. He feels this way because he listed the many reasons how plastic are harming and littering the environment and did many things to not only encourage other people to ban plastic bags, but also by trying to help make the problem better. The other article's author thought that plastic bags should not be banned. He feels this way because he himself is the president of a plastic bag manufacturer and he stated a reasonable amount of reasons he thinks that banning plastic bags are both bad for the economy and the environment These are the opinions of the authors of the two articles and why they feel that way. - Mary N.

ReplyDeleteYea! Plastic bags are often discarded on streets and are basically litter. At science camp we learned that all litter eventually ends up in the ocean. An sea animal could suffocate in that! D: (BTW: I haven't checked your blog in ages!) - Aimee
