SUMMER READING CHALLENGE (2nd post) -- Library Style!!!

"Dig Into Reading" is a program promoted by the San Jose Public Library.  Check it out!  Join the library program while you are working on the SUMMER READING CHALLENGE

Parents:  Here are the top 5 reasons to join this program.
Sign up easily online, or go to your local library.

Don't forget that the Summer Reading Challenge is to read at least five chapter books this summer.  Leave comments so that I know which books you have read and your recommendations.  You can track your status here.  Enjoy!

(Special thanks to Aimee, who reminded me about this library program.  Way to go!)

    1. Good to see that you entered "Gandalf." It's always good to have a wizard in the contest. Thank you for the info about the graphic novel making contest. I will look into it. I will contact the sixth grade teachers to try to get a supply list for you. Look for it later this summer.

  3. Mr. Prola, I also want to tell you about a different reading contest. It is The Scholastic Summer Challenge. You sign up online and then log how long you've read each day online. You have a goal of reading 120 minutes per week, and you can win prizes if you fulfill your goal. :) I hope you look into this. I joined and it's really cool.
