Where the Weird Things Are

This is a great summer reading article from National Geographic.  It is about an island call Socotra off the coast of Africa.  This island contains unique plants and animals that live no where else in the world.

  1. Mr. Prola, I just want to ask, do you know when we will be able to see who our teachers are? I know that we always get postcards in the month of August, but I want to know ahead of time. Of course, this is only if you know. :) Also, I just finished The Bridge to Neverland, which is a really good book. Does reading graphic novels count? If they do, I have read three of them.

    1. To the best of my knowledge, the principal does not release the class list until the week before school starts. However, that is subject to change at the principal's discretion.

For purposes of the Summer Reading Challenge, we will stick to chapter books. I'm glad you are enjoying the graphic novels though.
